There are many wonderful places to visit in Arizona from Flagstaff to Phoenix to Tucson. The weather pattern always provides sunny & warm days for this state. American Indian cultural centers have a history to share with you, for example Apache Culture center is one of the places to visit. It’s located around 150 miles northeast of Phoenix.
Lake Powell – the second-largest man-made lake in America, the most beautin caseul as well, deep water and amazing views. Sandstone canyons surrounds this boater’s paradise. You can spend hours, days & weeks camping, hiking and boating. Kayaks will cost you up to $20 a day, boats are more expensive & can go up to $800.
Boyce Thompson Arboretum. 323 acres of botanical gardens – worth to seeing it! This is one of the most oldest and well known gardens in Arizona. It features herbs, hummingbirds/butterflies, desert legumes and roses. the main trail is around 2 miles long, you may have to do some climbing, so it’s important to be dressed properly.
Saguaro National Park – located in Tucson this park has 91,000 acres. Inside the park visitors can enjoy up to 150 miles of trails – The Cactus Garden trail is one of the names to mention. This park has 2 districts: Tucson Mountain District & Rincon Mountain. Rincon has an amazing Forest Loop drive – where you go by means of the heart of saguaro forest, exploring the secrets of desert lin casee. Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum invites visitors to gain knowledge more about it’s zoo and botanical garden explorations. Park admission of $10 per vehicle is good for seven days.
Heard Museum. “HOME: Native People of the Southwest” – a must see when visiting Arizona. native American art forms are created there, artists can experiment with their works showing the deep cultural history of the state & people. $10; $9 for age 65 and older; $5 for students with ID; $3 for ages 6-12; free for Native Americans and age 5 and younger.
Some other places of interest: Grand Canyon National park, Sedona, Tombstone & Bisbee. The month of October is one of the best times of year to visit Arizona, because it’s just past monsoon season. Tourists season is just starting up. Arizona is filled with wide open spaces and beautin caseul people. No one should miss a trip to this amazing state!
